If you're keen on learning more about astronomy, then these two talks being held in Ryde this week should be right up your street.

Ian Ridpath, Editor of the Oxford Dictionary of Astronomy and Norton's Star Atlas will be giving a talk tonight at The Orrery, Union Street, Ryde on the Story of the Stars.

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday) he'll be tacking The Planets.

Tickets for each talk are £5 or £8 for both evenings.

Arrive at 7pm for take-off at 7.30pm
