Chroderize events combine the best of local creativity to present an entertaining and thought­provoking mix of poetry, music, prose and the visual arts. Each event is designed to be as ‘broad’ and eclectic as possible offering performers and artists the opportunity to present new materials and means of expression.

We see each event as a collaboration between a range of people with different interests and skills, we encourage cross­genre work.

Recent reviews have commented on the brutal honesty of the material, the quality of individual performances and especially on the strength of the more innovative material.

We have collaborations between poets and musicians, sound art combining music with documentary spoken word, visual artists talking about as well as showing their work and writers telling stories that need to be told.

For the fringe event we hope to include an improvised collaboration featuring a painter, a photographer, a poet and a singer/ songwriter.
