Join us for the opening of ‘The Poetry of Earth: drawings and paintings’ by Bridget Macdonald in The West Gallery, Quay Arts on Saturday 13 July 2 - 4pm.

Island born artist Bridget Macdonald returns to Quay Arts with a major solo exhibition this summer in The West Gallery. She will be showing evocative, large-scale charcoal drawings and paintings in oil, including a series focussing on the Island’s St Catherine’s Lighthouse and Niton Undercliff.

“Her work is at once richly descriptive of physical reality and deeply imbued with memories of her own past” Sheila McGregor - AXIS, Director.

Macdonald’s work has been widely exhibited across the UK and is included in corporate and private collections in the UK, USA, Italy and France.

The exhibition opens on Saturday 13 July and continues till Saturday 31 August.
