Headfunk returns to the wonderful Blacksheep for another night of high-quality, hand-picked musical mayhem. April's instalment sees the début of two and the return of one.

Kosher Ham make their Headfunk debut after a storming set at last year's Headfunk-curated Rhumba Rum Bar at Rhythmtree Festival.

KosherHam Sid and Winnie's musical education has been coloured by their upbringing as part of a world famous Hebrew travelling circus.

Unfortunately a painful and debilitating accident forced them to put down roots in Chicago but the silver-lining of the Windy City's jackin' club culture forged a deep desire to spread a new musical love around the world.

Their sets feature music discovered on their worldwide wanderings along with the electronic sounds of now.

Second guest is the returning Josh Brown. Josh played a stunner of a set for us back in November and we know he will be bringing his bag of funked-up dance magic. Josh manages to move seamlessly from early 70s deep Funk, through Hip Hop and Breaks to Liquid and Jump Up.

Final guest is Tony Stark. Tony has been desperate to play Headfunk for a long time. His recent appearances in Brighton at Subliminal have been going down like a blowy rainy thing and he is regular player for the legendary Dex FM. Turntable skills combined with a love of Hip Hop, Electro, Dub Step, Breaks and Bassline mean we are promised a set of party action.

Warm ups from Headfunk generalissimo The Hat doing his usual thing (as well as live percussion and occasional mike grabbing) - plus mastermind of all things visual and certified proper feature film maker - The AV Circus will be live visualising.

Bass heaviness and general sound enforcement applied by our good friends A Higher Sound.
