The second performance is "Seven Jewish Children - A play for Gaza" by Caryl Churchill.
This controversial play was written in response to Israel’s military strike on Gaza in 2008-9.
The play takes the form of a litany, and reflects an ostensible tension within Israel and the Jewish community over how to describe events in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
First performed at London’s Royal Court Theatre in February 2009, the play has continued to court controversy.
