Join us as artist Julian Konczak talks about the themes in his current exhibition 'Telenesia' in The West Gallery.

'Telenesia' is an imaginary island (tele = far away, nesia = island), cast adrift in a sea of lost and broken fragments of film, video and pixels - a celebration of the glitches and scratches, it is the place of forgotten media. Within the world of a lost archive of film footage, 'Telenesia' reconstructs visions of fading archetypes which appear out of the decaying images.

Artist and curator Julian Konczak has explored these themes of computation, analog aesthetics and video installation over a number of internationally exhibited works within the past 6 years.
