What a vibrant summer of music festivals we’ve enjoyed on this beautiful Island! And there’s no need for those post-festival blues to set in because Acoustic Originals is back on Monday 26 September at 8pm in the Quay Arts Café Bar with an exciting line-up of acts performing their very own, original music for you.

Tash De’Lacy Harrison – Still in her teens, Tasha blew us away when she sang with the Medina Ukulele Orchestra at Kashmir Café this summer. She’s been playing the guitar since she was just 9 years old and several of her self-penned compositions are available to listen to on myspace. She says she’s planning a career in music and we think her future’s looking bright.

Andrew Foster – Portsmouth based Andrew has supported an impressive array of established artists (check out his website and you’ll see what we mean!) and received praise from both Acoustic Magazine and the BBC for the lyrical content of his songs. A prolific writer we are pleased to welcome to Acoustic Originals for the first time.

Slombers Woke - Using their acoustic style and vocal harmonies as a springboard for their ideas, Paddy will be doing what he does best on lead vocals, and John has come out from his comfortable spot behind the drums to pick up his guitar and sing.

Yours & Mine – Formed on the Isle of Wight in early 2011, the trio's catchy sound is polished and refreshing. With hints of Costello and Buddy Holly, their EP, Yesterday’s Girl, is available on their website.

Vanzatti – Island based four-piece Vanzatti is unashamedly energetic with an indie-rock sound that is sure to get you moving. Winners of this year’s Live Wired competition, we’re delighted to invite them to showcase their music for us.

Proceedings kick off at 8pm but doors are open from 7pm – don’t forget, it’s absolutely FREE to get in and the bar will be open all evening. See you there!
