After blowing the roof off with our last event SeventySeven K returns on May 14th ready to take it to the next level!

For the next FREE liquid drum and bass party we have been lucky enough to secure the talents of Mr Steve Apexx, a DJ and producer who has been involved with the legendary Hospital Records for a number of years.

Steve Apexx has worked his way up through the Hospital stable since joining them several years ago. He ha...s since gone on to be an established part of their team representing them at Hospitality events across the country including the nights at superclub Matter and the huge Brixton academy party last September. Having just launched his own record label (Apexx Recordings) 2011 is shaping up to be a big year for Steve Apexx, and what better way to kick it off than smashing Ryde Seafront in May!

He joins the rest of the 77K crew to bring you another evening of non-stop Liquid Drum and Bass action, with louder and brighter than before sound and light production from the mighty NiTROBOX.

If you’ve attended one of our previous events you know the drill – the Liquid Drum and Bass scene is now massive all over the UK, bringing a more matured, 'vocal heavy' dnb sound, which draws on a variety of musical influences. It has crossed into the mainstream with the success of artists such as Chase and Status, DJ Fresh, High Contrast and Danny Byrd who between them have released some of the biggest dance albums of the last few years.

This night will be strictly “MC Free” (apart from the inevitable “Nitro Heist” later on!)
