The speaker will be Mark Earp who owns Kitbridge Farm and many years ago found he had Great Crested Newts in his ponds.

Since then he has made a detailed study of amphibians and has become a knowledgeable herpetologist.

He will be talking about "The Amphibians of the Isle of Wight- 'An Ancient Past, Uncertain Future'"

Mark will cover many interesting aspects of their behaviour and biology. Even if you have heard Mark talk before about newts, this talk should contain a lot more scientific information.
