'The Healing Festival' is a non profit event and the aim is to make people aware of their health, of different healing treatments, energies, nature and the environment.

The choice of venue for 13-14th August 2011 is the stunning Ventnor Botanical Gardens, 22 unique acres of outstanding natural beauty right next to the English Channel.

The festival aims to bring people together from across the island, the whole of the UK and abroad.

We want to give the visitors a mind opening experience so they leave calm yet motivated with positive energy, happy thoughts and a big smile.

Healing can be defined as regaining balance of mind, body and/or emotions.

This event will give everyone an insight into the healing arts, the importance of breathing and exercise and how it can lead to a healthier lifestyle, physically, mentally and spiritually.

The gardens will be open to the public as normal and the festival will be interactive with performers showcasing their talents and experts on hand to exhibit, explain and teach.

Families and individuals of all ages can come along, learn as much as they want, get creative, try out therapies that they may not have tried or heard of before, join in drumming/didgeridoo workshops or just relax, have a picnic and take in the therapeutic sounds, wonderful scenery and hopefully some sunshine.

Entrance is free but please give generously to the donation boxes to help raise money for the costs of the festival, the Botanical Gardens and some amazing charities.
