Thurs 4th & Fri 5th July 2013, 7.30pm

Ventnor Botanic Garden is thrilled to announce that an open- air performance of Romeo and Juliet will take place on both the 4th and 5th July at 7.30pm.

Performed in our stunning New Zealand Garden which is perfect for mirroring the setting of Renaissance Italy.

Romeo and Juliet is arguably the worlds greatest love story, with exciting plot twists and energetic actors it is certainly not something you would want to miss.

The Festival Players are a small group of professional actors who have the ability to adapt to any given part. Each performance requires quick costume changes from the actors, to ensure that they are able to play any part in the performance. They are a lively group of enthusiastic professional actors who have men doubling as women- just like in traditional Shakespearian theatre.
