Students will explore the wealth of colours produced using natural dyes and mordants, indigo dyeing, rust dyeing and eco-printing alongside learning various resist methods of creating pattern on cloth such as shibori, batik and starch and mud stencil resist.

Participants will be encouraged to explore and experiment with different methods of colouring and patterning fabric. There will be an opportunity to create longer lengths of cloth as well as to develop multiple samples.
