Island Equus will be running two non-residential Summer Pony Camp weeks during the summer holidays.

If you are looking for a fun and educational activity for young people throughout the holidays our Pony Camp could be the answer.

Running from Monday to Friday from 10am – 4pm each day the camp will help build confidence and self-esteem working with others as well as with our team of horses.

Practical skills working from the ground and through ridden work will engage young people and challenge them to try something new. Many aspects of horse care will be covered and taught with an emphasis on practical learning in small group sessions. Many new skills will be learnt throughout the week, not only in horse care and riding but also for life.

The end of the week will conclude with a show day in which parents and carers are invited to join us for the afternoon sessions from 2-4pm with an in-hand show and gymkhana games. Each camp will be filled with good memories and achievements for all the young people who attend.

The Summer Pony Camp is suitable for ages 7-15 years.

Refreshments are provided throughout, with drinks and snacks provided at break times. Bottled water will always be available. However, it is requested that young people bring their own packed lunch for a picnic lunch hour.

Cost per person per week is £175.00
