At Carisbrooke Castle from Saturday 16 until Sunday 24 February, children can follow a fun Donkey Quest and Carrot Trail around the castle in a search to help the donkeys find their lost carrots and receive a prize.

Plus families can meet the castle’s famous donkeys in the donkey centre and also happily showing off their skills turning the waterwheel during their regular short demonstrations in the castle Well House.

A film narrated by comedian Phill Jupitus introduces characters from the castle’s past and there are interactive displays to try out – including a crossbow to ‘fire plus costumes to try and the castle’s fascinating museum, packed with memorabilia and information about the Isle of Wight.
