FELTMAKING WORKSHOP with Gillian Chapman

Sunday 21st February 10am - 4pm

The theme of this feltmaking workshop is the garden in winter and Ventnor Botanic Garden is the perfect location! You will be instructed in the basic feltmaking techniques, working with a wide range of fibres and textures and shown how to create pieces of felt fabric that can be stitched, embellished and developed into pictures, book covers or small bags.

There will be the opportunity to sketch and photograph the gardens, and back in the studio you will shown how to interpret your ideas into felt.

This workshop is for All abilities!

£40 per person, plus £3 to cover materials & equipment.
