The Magna Carta Mardi Gras takes place on Saturday 27 June, 3pm on the streets of Ryde.

Watch the town's spectacular annual parade featuring an astonishing collection of carnival performers and local schools.

Route: Queens Road to Newport Street, High Street, Union Street, Esplanade. Finish at Eastern Esplanade gardens.

Schools involved in the project include: Queensgate Primary School, Whippingham, presenting The Suffragette movement.

Holy Cross Primary School, Cowes, presenting The Peasant’s Revolt Oakfield School, Ryde, presenting Freedom of the Press and Free Speech St George’s Special School presenting Racial Equality Ryde Junior School, which will be taking the Magna Carta lead position in the parade
