This French-born guitarist grew up in Switzerland where he was classically trained, before further exploring the guitar without the limitations of written music and delving headlong into folk, blues, jazz and rock music.

Now based in the UK, he has become a world-renowned player, highly acclaimed for his finger-picking style. He plucks, picks and strums at such speed that his fingers seem just a blur. Occasionally adding lyrics in his soft, slightly gruff voice, Claude is a master of his craft and his performance will keep the audience spellbound. Fresh from a tour of Germany, he will be doing a few shows in the UK around the time of our festival, before setting off for a lengthy tour of the USA and appearances in various European countries later in the summer.
