The Peacemakers, the latest choral work composed by Karl Jenkins, offers inspiration and solace for a time in need of

both. Using peace as the theme, the work combines the words of greatest peacemakers throughout history, including Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa among others, alongside some highly distinctive and original instrumentation which gives a hint to their culture.

Camerata is delighted to be joined by artists the choir performed the work with when conducted by Karl Jenkins himself: Andy Findon (ethnic flute), Zands Duggan (hand percussionist), Laurence Cottle (fretless bass). Choir and guest musicians will be supported by an orchestra of other select musicians yet to be announced and local players from the IWSO.

Camerata will join vocal forces with the children of Priory School Choir and Soprano soloist Kirsten Victoria Barker.
