Come and meet your local beekeeper and learn how to make your garden bee friendly.

There is enormous concern across Europe about the collapse of the honey bee populations. In order to support the decline in bees, David Wilson Homes is hosting an event to encourage more people to have a bee friendly garden.

The event is on Saturday 10th August in the show home garden at the Victoria Walk development.

There will also be free seeds to plant in your garden. The beekeeper will be there from noon-2pm to answer any questions and to offer expert advice on the best flowers to attract bees.

This event is open for anyone to learn about bee friendly gardening and the skill of keeping bees.
