Come along and see fascinating and colourful creatures in flight and at rest in our moth attracting devices.

Learn all about them from expert Rob Wilson and discover something new.

National Moth Night was last held at Ventnor Botanic Garden in 2010 when a sighting of the rare Portland Ribbon Wave (a Red Data Book species) proved to be one of the most significant observations nationally.

This year, the species to spot are the ‘Tiger’ moths. It is hoped both the Jersey Tiger and Ruby Tiger are going to be found at Ventnor Botanic Garden.

This is a free activity, but places are limited so please call to reserve a place. Meet outside The Visitor Centre at 8.30pm.

Please bring a torch and warm clothing. Contact Ventnor Botanic Garden on 01983 855397, option 3 or [email protected]
