Mencap are running Know Your Rights events nationally and Mencap IOW will be hosting one at Downside on Thursday 18th July between 10am and 3pm.

The agenda includes benefit changes, national cuts and issues, local cuts and issues and will cover adults and children.

The event is aimed at people with a learning disability and their carers/parents, but is also open to other professionals and organisations.

It is a free event with refreshments provided, (lunch can be bought from the Isobelle Centre Cafe).

We will have speakers and representatives from National Mencap including our Campaigns Officer and an advisor, as well as Swain and Co Solicitors.
