East Cowes Green Towns are hosting the Island First Sustainability road show. Spring forward for sustainability will be open to everyone on Sunday 25th March from 1.30-4.30

East Cowes Green Towns Initiative is a community group that is working towards getting Green Town Status by running community projects to improve the sustainability and natural diversity of the area. One of our most ambitious projects is The Sustainability Road Show.

We are inviting Island based companies and organisations (and a few national ones) that promote sustainability and/or ethical living to the event so that you can have a one-stop-shop to get all the information you need on subjects such as reducing energy bills, funding and installation of renewable energy equipment (e.g wood burning stoves, solar panels, heat pumps), saving water, reusing and recycling, growing and preserving food.

The event will include exhibitors of organic vegetables, fairtrade foods and gifts, eco-friendly products, wood burning stoves, ethical banking, micro generation, renewable energy, and arts and crafts. Plus talks and demonstrations.

Entry is completely FREE, tea's coffees and ethical products will be available to buy.
