Come and meet Brian Aldridge and Shula Archer at Priory Bay on October 8 2011 - fresh from Ambridge! Well, Charles Collingwood and real-life wife Judy Bennett, who play the much loved characters in the legendary BBC Radio Four drama - The Archers.

Enjoy Saturday night dining in their company and listen to Charles chat about his life and role as Brian in the hugely popular radio show.

He’ll also be signing copies of his book "Brian and Me" (the perfect personalised Birthday or Christmas gift!).

Born in Canada, educated at Sherborne School and trained at RADA, Charles spent his early years in rep before treading the boards with fine actors like Penelope Keith and starring in acclaimed plays such as Tom Stoppard’s Dirty Linen.

His TV credits include Hotel Babylon, Midsomer Murders, London’s Burning and Inspector Morse among others.

While working on a TV puppet series, Charles met his future wife Judy Bennett and was later invited to join her in The Archers playing the role of wealthy gentleman farmer, Brian Aldridge.

Charles has guested on many shows including Call My Bluff and Celebrity Weakest Link (which he won) and his recent autobiography - Brian and Me - received wide acclaim.
