The Annual West Wight Triathlon is in it's 9th year and will be on 25th September 2011. The 600 metre pool swim, 35km cycle and 7.5km run is an achievable challenge for people with a reasonable fitness level and the event always attracts lots of first time triathletes as well as many more experienced competitors. Organisers pride themselves on the unique friendly atmosphere and it is one of the few events where you can be sure of encouragement from the marshals and volunteers running the event.
