The Isle of Wight Gospel Choir, since it was formed in 2003, has taken part in many different sorts of events all over the Island. This concert will be one of their first with their new musical director, Neil Barker. From their wide repertoire they will be singing songs that will get your feet tapping as well as those that will touch your heart.
For this evening they are delighted to welcome some friends to share the evening with them - including The STOP Music Factory, led by Tony and Sue Anderson – a blues/ jazz rock band with songs “inspired by life’s journey”, the Isle of Wight YFC Band, led by Ian Peters, who regularly play at the monthly “Catalyst” event for young people from all over the Island, brother and sister team, Tim & Patience Wells, with some more mellow contributions and The Renaissance Choir with music with a more traditional feel.
We hope that this evening will one in which you will be able to enjoy hearing and meeting some excellent gospel-inspired Island singers and musicians.
All proceeds will be going to three well-known Island based charities: Street Pastors, IOW YFC & Love Russia.
We hope you will be able to join us for this very special evening.
Tickets: Adults £6 / Concessions £4
