Exploring family love and sexual love, this film shows how one can deny the other.

A young gay Italian, Tommaso, feels sure he can escape the confines of the family business by coming out but his brother beats him to it, shocking their father so much he has a heart attack.

Tommaso finds himself becoming the ‘good guy’ in order to hold this dysfunctional family together.

He even persuades a group of friends to act straight while on a visit to the family home. This is a beautiful film, alternately heartbreaking and heartwarming, full of warmth and richness.
