From the hinterlands of the Thames River delta come – the Hamsters.
One of Britain’s very best live bands will be back in Ventnor to open the festival with two solid hours of blues and rock.
Guitarist Slim, drummer Otis and bass player Zsa Zsa will be the headline act at on Friday 15 April.
Taking their name from the Sex Pistols, who once used it as a pseudonym to outwit hostile councils, the Hamsters have gathered a fan base from across the music industry and beyond. Radio 2’s eternally cool Bob Harris says they’re “fabulous” and a member of Natalie Imbruglia's band was spotted wearing a Hamsters’ t-shirts on the Graham Norton's show.
