Lubitsch, the master of Hollywood lampoon, turned his sights here on a new subject – Nazism. Poland may on the brink of war, but for the cast of of Polsky Theatre, the show must go on even if it means outwitting their German invaders.
The result is one of Hollywood’s finest propaganda comedies.

Tickets are £2.50 per person on the door and there is a bar open for the evening performances.
