Quay Arts presents a star line-up at this popular comedy night including multi award-winning Joe Bor, a hugely likeable and energetic observational character comedian, whose act consists of annecdotes from his upbringing, from working in a school and from failed relationships.
He is joined by Elis James, a 26 year old Cardiff based stand up comedian, who began performing comedy in 2005. His first gig was during those tough, confusing years after leaving university, which for him were characterised by the sound of gentle sobbing. Anyway, Elis has taken his conversational, storytelling style all over the country during the past few years - reaching the semi-final of So You Think You're Funny and becoming a regular act for Mirth Control, whilst running his own monthly night with Tom Craine in Cardiff.
Finally we have Tony Law whose infectious comedy will leave you stranded in a hilarious field of ideas. Half Canadian, half Trinidadian, Tony has been busy working hard on the circuit and creating a buzz for himself as one of the most exciting new comedy propositions around. His laid back acid casualty approach, combined with scorching jokes and incisive remarks make this a Comedy night to remember!
