Spring is very much in the air! And what better place to visit than the Botanic Gardens at Ventnor, where you can enjoy this exciting show, featuring the original work and diverse talents of a number of Island artists and, at the same time, admire the wonderful spring flowers, bulbs and blossom in the gardens.

"Crafty Artists" is an exhibition of visual arts, sculpture, jewellery, textiles and much more. The event will be held in the Echium Room and takes place over four days in March (15th -16th and 22nd - 23rd) opening from 10am to 4pm daily.

Admission is free and visitors will have an opportunity to buy unique handcrafted artwork & gifts. With Mothers Day and Easter just around the corner there will be plenty of ideas to choose from.

Artists taking part include Lis Toft (Porcelain & Jewellery), Pat Clarke (Paintings), Dale Durfee (Photography), Gillian Chapman (Felt Designs), Pauline Evans (Fused Glass), Juliet Collins (Sculpture), Fiona Austin (Mosaics), Marion Large (Silk painting) & Ray Dickinson (Wood Turning).
