RYDE ARTS FESTIVAL presents LANDMARK TREES INSTALLATION and SEASONS OF A SOLDIER

LANDMARK TREES INSTALLATION is a painted and collaged mixed media “forest” within the old church symbolising volunteers from Ryde in August 1914 by Lisa Traxler and local youth groups

Memory ribbons in the churchyard lead the viewer into the forestscape within

SEASONS OF A SOLDIER is a piece of music specially to accompany the Landmark Trees, written by Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra players, Florence Wenden and Tom Courtney. A recording of this piece will be playing at St Thomas Heritage Centre throughout.
