The Isle of Wight Art Club is holding its Summer Exhibition at Quarr Abbey from Wednesday 9th - Tuesday 14th June, with over 100 pictures from more than 30 artists in all types of media and covering a wide range of subject matter.

The IWAC is one of the oldest art clubs, now in its 126th year, and has an enthusiastic membership mix of local professional and leisure painters.

The Club meets weekly, throughout the winter months, providing the opportunity for members to paint portraits of sitting models and arranged still-life. We also enjoy frequent demonstrations of working in various media and arrange trips to visit important exhibitions on the mainland. During the summer, weekly ‘Plein Air’ painting sessions are organised, covering the fantastic choice of possible venues across the Island.

Entrance to the Exhibition at The Gallery at Quarr Abbey is free 10.30-16.30 each day and paintings are on sale to suit all pockets.
