Popular Isle of Wight artist Andrew Dowden will be exhibiting at Quarr Abbey Art Gallery from Thursday, 19 September until Tuesday, 24 September.

In addition to his distinctive hand-carved ceramic forms, Andrew will be exhibiting some of his new artwork for the first time.

Transferring some ceramic ideas onto a different medium, the painted wall art pieces have evolved over a couple of years.

Andrew's handmade, hand-carved ceramics are individually-designed. A limited palette of slips and glazes are used, with the colour of the clay body being an integral part of the surface design.
