Carnival co kite roadshow

The New Carnival Company will be out and about in the heart of the community next week with a spectacular KITE MAKER'S ROADSHOW.

Working from their mobile outreach facility – The Carnival Truck, the company will be delivering 10 kite making workshops in 10 different locations in 6 days to get ready for the Island’s Kite Festival in September.

The Kite Festival itself is themed ‘Sea and Shore’ and will highlight environmental issues relating to our Island coastline and the wildlife within it. Many of the kites will be made from bio-degradable materials so if they do break free on the Festival Day then will not cause any environmental damage.
