The Doubting Dereks are a loosely folded collation of attention whores and wannabe stadium rockers presenting everything entertaining including original music, poetry and prose, the demonstration of Weird Science, the display of art, contemporary dance, cross dressing and philosophy demos with everyday objects.

Our mission is to entertain and inform but in a different way by means of a heady blend of Batley Hippodrome and Zurich’s Cabaret Voltaire.

The next gig on Sept 16th will feature pantomime, dance, poetry, soul exposure, butchery, music and monologue and a myriad of other fascinating turns to keep you spellbound but mostly bemused.

Performer's for this month include: Ivana Popov (poems), Paradox Paul (art), Dave King (prose), Cheryl Barrett (panto writing, philosophy and butchery) plus live music and John Trotman (poem and monologue.) Brooke Engledow (poems) Caroline Donellan (poems).
