HAVE A GO AT SAILING AS GURNARD SAILING CLUB PUSH THE BOAT OUT

Gurnard Sailing Club invites you and your family to try sailing for free as part of RYA Push the Boat Out 2016.

Whether you’re completely new to the sport, looking to get back on the water or sail regularly, Gurnard Sailing Club will be one of the many sailing clubs and centres across the country taking part in RYA Push the Boat Out. The event will see hundreds of people taking part in the sport at club open days or taster sessions.

From 12pm to 3pm, on Saturday 14th May at Gurnard Sailing Club there will be a whole host of activities taking place. The club will be open for members of the public to come inside and meet some of our members and learn more about what the club has to offer, while enjoying some tea and cake and the beautiful views of the Solent. Weather permitting, free sailing taster sessions will be on offer, no need to book just turn up and sign in. Buoyancy aids will be provided but warm clothing is advisable and you may get wet!
