"Reading Between The Lines" returns for another bumper installment, and following in from our February installment with Mark Grist, We're beyond delighted to welcome the most unique voice on the UK spoken word scene, the legend that is JOSHUA IDEHEN.

Josh is the spiritual guru behing Poejazzi, an almost cathedral like orginization for poetry and culture in London. He's guested on vocals for the likes of Dan Le Sac, as well as leading the creative charge as a frontman for 'Benin City' and 'LV & Joshua Idehen'. In addition he holds poetry residencies at Lattitude and Bestival (as personally requested by Scroobius Pip).

In addition, 2014 has seen him travel around the world to use his singular voice to tackle feminism, social activism, and why Gandalf is actually a little bit rubbish without his famed eagles.

...But it wouldn't be 'Reading Between The Lines' if we didn't have a whole barrel load of local Styles of Wight, and returning to us by popular demand is COOLY HASTE. Our first ever resident, Cooly is a powerfully forward-thinking wordsmith. We're delighted to welcome him back, and cant wait to hear his newer material.

We're also flattered to to be joined by our good friend DORIS DOLALLY. Doris is whimsical, Joyous, and an expert at writing disgruntled letters. She's a unique voice, and a captivating persona. Be sure not to miss this chance to see an up-and-coming talent win you over with the contents of her notebook.

For many, many months now, We've all got used to hearing our very own King Stammers reach into his crates to DJ for the interval, but this time around, we welcome a long-time friend of ours, TOM HEADFUNK. Tom is a much-lauded DJ, with a music collection as deep as it is eclectic. He's a Glastonbury resident, and a champion for Island creatives. We're beyond ecstatic to welcome him into the fold.

We also have another TWO EXTRA SPECIAL GUESTS still to be announced, so watch this space.

Holding this gathering of verbally gifted so-and-so's together takes a man of a very particular nature. We needed someone charismatic, Powerful, well-liked and handsome. Sadly though, no-one was available so we called upon King Stammers to fill the slot. The guvnor, curator, and kingpin of the event, King Stammers is the poetic alias of writer and filmmaker TJC Martin, and was recently crowned Bestival's 2015 Island Poetry champion.

We're also making a RBTL first in welcoming a live artist. The mounth it's the amazing JAMES JACK. A visual artist, Storyteller and video games developer from Ryde. James's fantastical, whimsical artwork draws influence from sources as varied as anime, steam-punk, classic Victorian fashion and spaghetti westerns.

Each month we welcome new guests, different themes, new decor, new visuals and exciting twists and turns with each and every syllable...
