The Robert Hooke Society Freshwater, Isle of Wight present a talk and demonstration by microscopist Brian Darnton

Brian Darnton is a dedicated and enthusiastic microscopist who is well aware of the important role that Robert Hooke and his book ‘Micrographia’ played both in the development and the popularising of the optical microscope, which led to a better appreciation and understanding of the natural world that could be studied in closer detail under it.
