Solar Renewable invite you to the grand opening of their Energy Efficiency Centre… The cutting of the ribbon will take place at 11:30 with refreshments served thereafter.

The company now four years established, has recently re-invested profits from last years’ turnover into a Renewable Energy Showroom at their HQ on Dodnor park estate.

The £80,000 showroom is a one of a kind, being the Islands only fully functioning display of renewable energy technologies. This includes; 12kw of PV Solar Panels on the roof with a faux display within the showroom, an air-source heat pump which heats the show room itself, with Solar Thermal providing the building with hot water. Additionally a range of back boiler, multi fuel stoves supply the radiator network to the offices.

This showcases how the technology works for a commercial business, but is done so in the home setting of the showroom enabling homeowners to see how it will work for them.

There are also several examples of under-floor heating, low energy lighting, biomass heating and thermal insulation, alongside a bathroom showroom.
