Ventnor Film Society presents ... Me and You

Troubled 14 year old loner Lorenzo plans to escape his family and the pressures of teenage life by hiding out in an abandoned cellar with just his music, fantasy books and ant farm for company. But when his older half sister and heroin addict turns up, their emotional time together inspires him to embark on his journey to adult life.

An intimate and engaging coming of age drama, Bertolucci's latest film features fine cinematography, is flawlessly acted and enlivened by an infectious soundtrack featuring David Bowie, Arcade Fire and The Cure. Jacopo Olmo Antinori makes his debut here in a touchingly innocent portrayal of teenage angst.
