The wonderfully kept gardens of Barton Manor will once again be open to the public for one day only for the annual Barton Manor Christmas Fayre in aid of Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

On Sunday 4th November visitors will have the chance to enjoy the well tended gardens, relax in the tranquil Japanese Water Garden, as well as feed the numerous friendly ducks, geese and fish in the lake.

Away from the opportunity to take in the grounds there will be a whole host of local gift stalls to browse and pick up those unique and special gifts in plenty of time for Christmas, as well as the chance to pick up this years selection of hospice Christmas Cards, with all new designs.

The popular Hospice Gift Shop makes a welcome return with its shelves laden with bargains, local singers, groups and bands will be on throughout the day to keep you entertained and there is a fully licensed Bar to keep visitors refreshed. There is also a Café selling hot and soft drinks and snacks, as well as the popular BBQ, kindly run by Vectis Sunrise Rotary Club.

The Earl Mountbatten Hospice Open Days are the only time of year the gardens of Barton Manor are open to the public, the manor house is a private residence and as such is not open to the public. The hospice is grateful to the new owners of Barton Manor for opening up their grounds to us and for allowing us to continue holding these popular and incredibly well supported events.

The Hospice Barton Manor Open Day runs from 10am to 4pm, with Admission: Adults: £3, Under 15’s: £1, Under 3’s: Free. No dogs except Guide Dogs.
