Few spectacles are more wonderfully uplifting than the being in the presence of a massed choir. Even the most indifferent audience cannot fail to be moved by the sheer wall of sound.

Saturday's festival events will culminate in over a hundred singers from across the south of England coming together.

Can it possibly get any better than that? Well, yes. It can.

Our very special guest singer will be internationally renowned soprano Lesley Garrett.

Top flight choirs, including the Medina High Community Choir, the Hart Male Voice Choir, the Community Glee Club and the Bournemouth Male Voice Choir will each sing highlights from their own repertoires and some numbers with Britain’s best-loved soprano, before the evening culminates in a massed ensemble of voices.

Lesley Garrett will sing solos, accompanied by pianist Ian Reid, who will also be accompanying singers from Medina High Community Choir.
