World Book Night is a celebration of books that aims to get the nation reading.

Waterstone’s in Newport will be hosting their own World Book Night party where givers are invited along to meet each other, give away their books and celebrate together.

The public are also invited to join in the celebrations and maybe pick up a free book or two, and as part of the spirit of sharing, to bring along a book they would like to swap with other attendees.

As well as quizzes, raffles and competitions, book lovers will also be given the opportunity to share their enthusiasm by writing reviews to be used in-store to recommend books to customers.

The party will take place in Waterstones between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Saturday 5th March.
