Due to the adverse weather conditions, all sessions on 4th December have been cancelled.

There are plenty of good musicmaking opportunities for young people but by far the biggest, the Isle of Wight Music Centre, starts a new season this Saturday morning, 18 September, at Medina High School.

Around 400 young musicians will be playing in three orchestras, four bands, a jazz group, recorder groups, keyboards and choirs.

Buses bring people in from all over the Island.

Come and give it a try, its fun, sociable, musical, and visitors are welcome to come and look round and have a coffee.

Most groups play from 10.00am - 1230pm.

Membership this year is £40 for the full season September - May.

A bus pass, if required, is £28 a year from anywhere on the island. Details on the IWC Website
