Lucy Akhurst and Charles Thomas ¬Oldham's film about an avant-garde Morris dancer was shunned by distributors only to become a word-of-mouth hit on the UK folk scene, playing to packed village halls across the south-west.

Shot as a documentary, this fictional account of one of the leading Morris teams in the country, focuses on the actions of the group’s leader who, whilst a traditionalist, is also pioneering a new form of dancing called Extreme Morris.

The drama of his quest to perform this, with its ups and downs, make this a gripping and very entertaining film.
