The long awaited consultation event concerning the East Yar Strategy has been announced.

The consultation takes places between 2pm and 8pm on 9th December.

Members of the working group and the Environment Agency will be there to answer your queries.

This is the most important consultation to take place in the village in many years and decisions which come out of this consultation will be important for future generations.

The consultation is about whether the sea wall at St Helens should be repaired or go to the elements. The IWC is proposing a 50 year strategy of repair but if this proposal is not adopted and the sea wall is washed away the effects on Embankment Road, the businesses and the Harbour will be far reaching.
