Organised by the Sustainable Business Partnership between 11.30am - 2pm

The next Isle of Wight Sustainable Business Network meeting is to be held on Tuesday 8th December (11.30am – 2.00pm), will focus on Renewable Energy options available to businesses.

We will be paying particular attention to what technologies now exist, with a presentation from Engenius, a Cowes based designer and supplier of Solar, Wind and Hydro Power systems.

There will then be presentation, by the Carbon Trust, based around the funding and other financial help available to businesses who wish to install some form of renewable technology.

The third presentation will be a local business’ point of view on Renewable options, by Timothy Sell of Crossprint.

The workshop will be run by Lois Prior, from the Big Green Island Project, who will do a tour of the UKSA building and run a ‘working lunch’ workshop on Eco-Mapping.

Lunch will be provided to be eaten during the workshop.

Expert speakers will be on hand to offer practical advice and tips on renewable technologies available; the financial incentives and what technologies would be most suitable for your business.
