Drop-in to discuss and find out how to become a Marine Citizen Scientist and explore with the SharkLab team how you can become Involved in these exciting and ‘live’ citizen science projects here in Sandown Bay + Bembridge.

Become a Citizen Scientist and help survey our coastline; islanders and holiday visitors are welcome to join in with SharkLab LIVE Beach Survey Events, which are planned for Week 2 of the Easter Holidays: Tues 19th – Sun 24th April 2022.

We’ll show you how to hunt, identify and record your findings so that they can be added to live scientific databases. Your Citizen Scientist contributions will significantly aid the SharkLab in monitoring and assessing the health of Sandown Bay which is a Marine Conservation Zone (MSC) and is known as ‘the Jewel of Hampshire’.
