Baby Shark Bites! Citizen Science Drop-in Workshop 11am until 3pm

Become a SharkLab Technician for the day and learn about the Sharks, Rays and Skates that live in the Bay and receive a SharkLab Badge and Certificate at the end.

Fun Hands-on Citizen Science Experiments; expect to get a little wet as we explore the undersea world of a baby shark.

Do we have sharks in Sandown Bay? What is a shark? How are they born? Are they big enough to eat you? How can we look after them?

You’ll never look at Sandown Bay in quite the same way again!

Donations welcome to help cover material costs! Suitable for families and adults of all ages.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility: Yaverland Sailing Club is fully equipped and wheelchair/ pushchair accessible.
Free parking on site for event visitors only. Teas, coffees and squash available throughout the day, for a £1 donation.
