Following the Government announcements this week in response to the Covid-19 crisis, we regretfully advise we have had to take the decision to cancel this year’s Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair which was to be held on 16th May.

Anyone who has already purchased tickets can return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.

We hope you understand the reasons for this decision being taken and we hope to be back next year.

The tenth annual Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair will take place in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, Isle of Wight on Saturday 16th May 2020. 11.30am to 8.00pm.

After a sell-out successful launch in 2011, the family friendly festival has been gaining momentum with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children's activities, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent!

Very pleased to announce our special guest artists at Wolverton Folk & Blues this year include.... Award winning USA Bluesman EUGENE 'HIDEAWAY' BRIDGES and his band, rising Folk stars THE SHACKLETON TRIO and British blues supremo PAPA GEORGE BAND.

As well as the Main Stage, the popular 'Beer Tent Acoustic Stage' will make a welcome return this year providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk & Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Other Bands/Artists confirmed include: The Moonshiners, Dollymopps, Angelina, Laurie McVay & The High Rollers, The Crew, The Clacks Band, Steve Love, Vote Pedro, Sun Morrow, Ergo Phizmiz & Depresstival, Bloodstone Border Morris and more to be announced...

With an IW real ale beer tent, BBQ, Tea Tent, children’s activities, craft stalls, Circus Skills and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair looks set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.
